Kat Healy

This is a drawing I did a couple years back from a photo (apologies) of a very talented friend of mine named Kat Healy. Kat has the voice of an angel and she brought it along with her guitar to play some songs at a recent art event/talk I organised at the UNIONgallery 15 July.

Ivan Perry, lead singer from the band Elkin  also entertained the audience with a couple songs including a favourite of mine - She's Coming Down. This particular song has inspired a large painting that is very near to completion, which will be going into my November exhibition.

A great time was had by all thanks to the hospitality and flowing wine from UNIONgallery owners Rob and Alison.
