Ladies and Gentlemen - We have a winner!
The charity fundraiser raffle took place on New Year's Eve and a very happy 11 year old boy named Jordan is now the proud owner of the rock star autographed Gibson guitar that I painted to raise money for Art in Healthcare.
I met Jordon and his family at the Hard Rock Cafe and we had dinner with one of the bands who signed the guitar, Frightened Rabbit. Jordan was over the moon with all of it! It was a fantastic evening and I would like to thank the Hard Rock Cafe so much for helping to facilitate such a successful event.
We raised just under £3500 for the charity, which couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks to everyone for all your support and to Gibson guitar too for their generous donation of the guitar.

The prize draw tickets for this unique guitar, donated by Gibson and the Hard Rock Café in support of Art in Healthcare, have arrived! Painted by yours truly, the Epiphone has been signed by Rod Jones, guitarist from Idlewild, brilliant jazz musician Graeme Stephen, the members of Frightened Rabbit, and rising stars We Were Promised Jetpacks (in the photo above).
September update: The Barenaked Ladies signed the guitar at the HMV Picture House on Wednesday! Thanks very much guys!
November update: Braving torrential November Rains I met up with the Legend, Jon Lord, who played with Deep Purple and Whitesnake. He was in Edinburgh receiving an honorary doctorate for music and he really is a legend! He was amiable, accomodating, funny, AND he signed our guitar!
